Before Accession
Born Prince Eheneden Erediauwa, eldest son of Oba Erediauwa, he trained abroad and had a long career in Nigeria's diplomatic service. He served as ambassador to several countries, including Sweden, Angola and Italy.
Accession
Following the passing of Oba Erediauwa in 2016, he was crowned on 20 October 2016 as Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, taking the name of the great 15th-century reformer.
